Below is the equipment that I will most likely take with me when I go out to investigate any site, whether it be a residential haunting, or just to see if I can experience what has others have surrounding an urban legend. Digital Recorders: RCA 64M, Olympus DS-2, and Olympus 480-PC
They all have the capacity to be plugged directly into a computer and the files can then be downloaded into any Audio program you like to use for listening to your audio clips.
A Radioshack 33-3013 Condenser Microphone
These are good at eliminating the "static" from the background. They also have "omni directional recording" meaning they record all around you not just in the direction the microphone is pointed.
